I've been adding and linking the Sebastian Lasher family that arrived in Germantown, New York in 1710 for the last few years.|
If you are related I would love to hear from you and we are distant cousins.

There were a lot of Lashers, most already documented here. I'm sorry I don't have more specific info.

Hi Janet. I didn't add to John's because the stone seems to imply he's not buried here - no date of death? Is it possible that he remarried after Helen's death and is buried with another wife? I would hate to add misinformation, i.e., he's buried in Sunnyside when he's not. Let me know, if you're sure he's buried there (why no death date?) I'll add to his.
I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) does not like to provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request. Thanks.

John N. Stickle....the date of death on the cemetery record is Feb 1, 1902 but John died 1907,,,if you look at the picture of the stone closely you can see it.
The Columbia Republican = Feb 12, 1907
John N. Stickle died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan funk in Tivoli last Saturday afternoon, after an illness of about three months' duration. He was 43 years of age and was born in the town of Clermont, where he spent his whole life among the friends of his boyhood days. He was the son of the late Gilbert Stickle and leaves seven sisters to mourn his loss.
I'll probably have more Lasher photos in Swinburne. Keep checking back. Charlotte

The cemetery office, 413-499-1317, confirmed that Robert is buried with his parents, but is not listed on the stone. You are welcome to delete the photos, but that is where he is buried.

Not sure how you are related to the McCumbers, but came across Robert and Edna on this site. My fathers family are laid to rest at North Columbia Cemetery and i would often pass by your family.
Years ago i had gone deer hunting with Mr McCumber and his Children. I met him thru Charles Fresco who was married at one time to one of his granddaughters Penny Guido.
I now reside in western Tennessee of which my mother was from, but occasionally make it back to New York about three times a year.
If you have other request in mind, and the locations are within the Mohawk Valley let me know and i will do my best to help out.

I added in Mary and Mildred to F A G. I think I made the right Family links as you indicated in your message.
PS - on to searching for more of the Lasher Family.
