|Debbie DuBrucq||RE: Starling Thornton|
Good Afternoon Ross,
You didn't include the memorial, so I am going to take a little stab here. Are you speaking of the memorial 39229608 (John Sterling "Starlin" Thornton)? I do not have a Lttleberry Thornton associated with this line, but that doesn't mean it isn't so. Just means I haven't found it yet. Lol
Maybe this memorial 90737449 (John Thornton)? This is also a possibility for the same reason as given above.
I am trying to make the connections to Starlin Thornton, who is also buried on Thornton's Mountain in Franklin County, Virginia. The name Littleberry is very prevalent within my tree and I know it is coming from somewhere, just not sure where it originated.
My email address is email@example.com. I would appreciate anything that you can help me with, so that I can add it to my tree. I am a DAR member and would like to add an associated affliation under Starling Thornton but have not found enough information sufficient to validate that I have it correct. I do believe that the name “Starlin” was a nickname to the family name “Sterling” but again, haven't been able to provide that tidbit.
Regarding Memorial 105770386..... who was her husband? I have a William Leasure in my line... just trying to see if my William is her father?
|Andrew Alexander||RE: William Harper|
My pleasure. Maybe someone else will be able to find the missing gravestones.
added various name versions. Would you like me to transfer her to you?
|Mrs. Bee||RE: Margaret A Zimmerrnan|
You are most welcome. I checked Wesley Pippenger's book about this cemetery. All of the Zimmermans known to be buried in Methodist Protestant Cemetery have memorials on Find A Grave.

|Tammy Schneider||Charles Bowman's wife|
"Husband of Ella Sutton Bowman or Luella Long. we have conflicting data."
Luella B. Sutton Long Bowman was my ancestor's niece. Her first husband died in a railroad accident.
|Kathy Smith||Parker Bradford|
Parker was my second cousin, but I never had the opportunity to know him. I see you grew up in Ohio County & Wheeling. Did you know him?
thanks for info..love the history !
|Thats My Cuz||Your Friend Patricia|
I am sorry to tell you that I think she is who you asked.
She was living in Wellsburg when she died.
Her obituary was "bare-bones" so it didn't have any personal information like schooling and such but only had her death date and place, the names of her parents along with the surviving family member names.
Her obituary didn't even have when she was born but I have since found the date and have added it to her memorial.
Also, sorry for the delay in my response to you but I wanted to find out/verify her birth information before I responded to you.
I am sorry you lost your friend.
