Francis Mangone Headstone Picture
Hello Lucy. Just a note to say 'Thank You' for taking the time to go to the cemetery and take a picture of PFC Francis Mongone's Headstone. Francis would have been a member of our graduating class of January 1952, Dickinson High School, Jersey City, NJ. But he joined up during the Korean War and just four months shy of our class graduation in January 1952, he was killed in action.
He was remembered in our Yearbook 'The Gnome'.

Picture Thank you & Request
Hi Lucy,
Thanks so much for the picture you took at Hillside Cemetery. But it's for the OTHER Madeline in our family: Madeline Pauline Bauer Phelan who was born 1881 and died in 1940. Could you shift the picture from Madeline DeVorsey's page to Madeline Phelan's memorial page in the same cemetery?
You're a dear. Thanks again!
So great to have help when I'm in South Carolina so far away!

RE: Hillside Cemetery - Rutherford
Thank your Lucy for that explanation about the Hillside cemetery. I thought it was sorta weird that there was only two listings for the one listed in Rutherford. Thank you for your time and there is really no hurry.

RE: Phelan
Lucy,
Found the Phelan picture on Archie Phelan's memorial page. Thanks SO much! It's a good idea about adding the other memorials! I will do that today. The stone for Mother who died in 1929 will be the memorial for Mary Kruger Phelan, Archie's first (of three) wives. Marie Bauer Phelan who died in 1940 was Archie's second wife. His third wife, Louise Bauer Phelan (sister of Marie), should have an inscription on the Phelan marker but does not.
Thanks again,
Ruth DeVorsey

RE: Phelan
Hi,
Really appreciate your getting the picture of the Phelan gravestone. Did you get a shot from the front where you can read the word Phelan? The label at the bottom says it was taken at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery...that's not right, is it? Would love to see the stones for the three smaller stones. They are all family.
Thanks so much!
Ruth

Lucy, I wanted to thank you for the work that you did in trying to find my Great Grandparents gravestone. Since they do have a plot but the gravesite is unmarked I am going to try and get something to mark their graves. Again thank you so very much for you help. suzanne
