Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have a lot of memorials and there are some who believe I am just into "the numbers". First of all, that is not my intentions here on Find A Grave. My intentions are to find as many people as I can who do not have a memorial here, so that people can find their family. I love getting out and photographing the stones. Which is why I have so many of them! For those who think I am into the numbers, should I just wait until someone has a memorial made before adding my photo to it? I know that I love those people who get out and do what I'm doing. I hope to be able to find out where some of my ancestors are some day if someone finds them. I like to be able to indirectly pay my thanks to those who did find some of my ancestors and post them here on Find A Grave, by adding memorials for other people to find. It was wonderful finding out where some of my ancestors were.

*I want to apologize for some of my Memorial Park photos being "grassy". I didn't have anything with me at the time to sweep it off, and didn't want to do it with my hands.

I do have photos for all my memorials made in 2013 and 2014 for Memorial Park Cemetery. I am now done photographing the entire cemetery, with the exception of gravestones that do not have a death date or if their birth date was after 1914 and no death date(Unless I found them in the SS Index). I am working on going through those now and adding memorials for those who do not have one. After that, I will be adding the several thousand photos I have for Memorial Park. But, in the mean time, PLEASE feel free to ask me to post a photo for someone I have made a memorial for. You do NOT need to put in a request. Just send me a sac and I will find it and get it on here for you.

Now, about these "edits". I will continue accepting most of them, but it's hard for me to research every edit I receive, so it's possible that people could send me wrong information. If that happens, please accept my apologies.

When asking for transfers, please include your relationship. If no relationship is included, it won't happen. Send information by the edit tab at the top right of the memorial only. Adding information to flowers is against find a grave rules.

You can use my photos, but please give me credit if you use them on other websites.

I have been doing genealogy research on my family and others for about 14 years. I have learned so much in the process! Like, don't take every leaf on Ancestry as fact! Don't take information from other trees there as fact. Don't take everything, even in official documents as fact. lol The fact is, unless we knew and lived with that person, nothing is 100% fact. You have to look at more than one thing sometimes to see it better. I will use censuses, death certificates, etc to "prove" my research, but those are usually full of errors too. But anything is only as proven as how reliable the information you have found, is. Does that make sense? :-)

Gravestones I am specifically looking for are for : Samuel King b- 1827 in NY and d- 1880-1885 in eiher Washington Co. KS or NE; Lydia Shaffer King b- 1831 in PA and d- 1895-1900 KS or NE

Hi Diana,

Thanks for the death date of my great Aunt. Where did you find it. I had her obit and a picture but there were no dates on any of it. Thanks for responding.

Thank you for searching for a tombstone for him!! It's possible he never had one or it's disappeared over time.

I appreciate it, Diana. You are welcome to add your photos to any of my memorials anytime! When I first started uploading on this site, I had my camera settings wrong so it condensed them to small photos GRRR! Anyways... any larger photos you have, feel free to add them! :)

RE: Holland
Can you send me an e-mail at

This is getting confusing, and my comments/questions are going to be many! :)

RE: Holland
The ages on that census are wrong. He's 12 years older than Gertrude, not 2....and, who is Alice, the 16 year-old????? Now, there's the mystery. :) Thanks for all the info; I'll be updating his memorial and making the links.

RE: California, Death Index, 1940-1997
I definitely think this is him. The dates and the fact that he died in California make it look pretty certain. I'm going to link him with his parents, I'm that sure. :) So much for my saying I looked at the California Death Index. Don't know what I did wrong, but I got "zero" on my search for him. I'll check back through my papers and see, for sure, if the funeral home was McGlaughlin and touch base with them again to see if they can tell me a location for Aunt Gertrude's grave. So much for the mystery of solved that one real quick I'd say. I'll let you know if I find out anything. Thanks!
