Thank you so much! This is my husband's stepfather's line. He is a Treptow. I've just started doing the research on them.

Hi, not being a common name, is this Samuel Willard Farrington related to Samuel Willard Farrington, born in Chesterfield, NH 19 July 1801, and died 5 September 1835? Thanks

Would you know who would have the original family picture of John that is shown here? I would love to get a digital copy if I could. John is my wife's 2nd Grandfather. Thank you.
|Janet Marie||Norcross Burgett|
I've been working on photographing all of Montello Cemetery. I recently added photos of the Norcross Burgett family plot to many members of the NORCROSS family where you specified that they were buried on that plot, but had no individual markers.
There are three members of the NORCROSS family left with no photos:
Betsy Norcross # 117700971
Daniel Norcross # 105400704
Sarah Fisk Norcross # 121218273
Do you know if they are buried on the NORCROSS/BURGETT family plot? I would be happy to add photos to their memorials if they are.
Please let me know either way. Thanks!

Thank you. I just recently found this web site and am trying to compile a list of our relatives. Being over 2,000 miles away I really appreciate help from people like you. Sharon
|Sharon Peters||William & Martha Berbaum|
I found William and Marth Berbaum listed in both St. Paul Lutheran and Redeemer Lutheran cemeteries in Wittenberg. They appear to be the same people, same birth and death dates. Can you tell me which one they are in.
|Jonathan Twiss||William D Walker|
Hello, I sent an email to Don some time ago but never heard from him. When I rechecked the page for Capt Wllm D Walker, I noticed that you added a new photo of a monument regarding W D Walker Company? Can you tell me what that is? Thanks.
My great-grandmother Persis Armina Sheldon was the second wife of Capt William D Walker; they were married at Harrisville, WI on 8 November 1857. They had a son born 1861, died 1862. He was most likely buried in the Sheldon cemetery in Westville. Or the same one as his father was buried in? Capt Wllm D Walker died of blood poisoning from a gunshot wound in his leg which he received at a battle in Virginia on 18 January 1864 [his widow's pension papers]. After his death, his widow Persis ["Mina"] returned to her native Vermont and stayed in Montpelier taking care of wounded soldiers through out the war. She remarried my great-grandfather Joseph T. Gowen of Washington, Maine on 9 April 1873. They had three children of their own. She died 30 January 1911 aged 71 of pneumonia at Morrisville, VT.
My distant cousins in Hyde Park, VT has a nice
photograph of Capt Wllm D Walker in his military uniform ca. 1861. I wish I had a copy to share with you, but I don't.
Hope to hear from you. Regards, Jonathan Twiss
