Padgett graves thanks
Just want to say thanks for posting photos of the graves and markers of my grandparents, Mamie and Virgil Padgett, who are buried in the Long Swamp Church cemetery.

We appreciate your thoughtfulness.
If I can ever do anything for you in this regard, please let me know.

I tried to delete that record, but I am not it's original creator and it was not allowed. The message said you would have to contact Find A Grave. You may be able to contact the originator to help. I have transferred the record to you.

Let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Wow!! You really went beyond what I expected. Thank you so much for all the photos and work.

I didn't realize there were so many family members there of Andrew. And he went by Andy. Or that they were founding members of the church. His son John C Hays seems to be the one that moved off and ended up over her in Alabama in Fyffe up on Sand Mountain.

Actually I had not come across Lavada Hays .. Either as a Willie or Millie. I'm thinking it is one person in my quick look at things, but will dig into it further.

Again thank you so much!

Hello Carol,
Yes, we do most definitely have direct line male descendants. However, they are my first cousins and all the males are in one line. At one point a decade or so ago, they were very interested in lineage, but I'm not so sure about now. I will happily attempt to contact them with your request and will get back with you.
