My Precious Mother was born at Neelys Landing, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. Her name was Grace Pearl Rumfelt, she was one of thirteen children born to Robert Ellison Rumfelt and Mary Elizabeth McCain Rumfelt, she was my inspiration for starting genealogy, along with my cousin Dewey Milo Rumfelt Sr. Anyone who knew her, loved her, they were very blessed to have known her and I am the most blessed to have had her as my Mother. She married my dad, Thomas Oral Norton Sr in 1928. I am researching, RUMFELT, NORTON, McCAIN, MEADOWS, RICE, STANLEY, BYRD, ANDERSON, CLOVER, NATION, BAILEY, and extended families of these surnames, in Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana, along with other states. |
If I have posted any duplicate memorials, please let me know, it was not intentional.

|Susan White||RE: Anderson family|
As far as I know Rebecca is the daughter of Andrew and Chloe. I have not been able to verify that fact because I can't find when she died so I could look for a death cert or obit.
|Susan White||Anderson family|
How are you related to Rebecca Anderson Hughes. I think she is a daughter of Andrew and Chloe but have found no positive connection.
|Michelle Dudley ||Meadows Family|
My Great Grandmother was Ellen Lilly Meadows Hardy. My grandmother was her daughter but she isn't mentioned as one of William Clarence Hardy and Ellen Lilly Meadows Hardy's children. Is there any way you can fix this. I would like to know if you might send me information about the family. Here is my e-mail address: email@example.com
|MMeadows||Andrew Lopp Meadows|
Andrew Lopp (not Loop) Meadows was my great grandfather and his son, James Monroe Meadows, was my grandfather. James was married to Lennie Mae Hallmark and their only surviving son, Jimmie Neil, was my father, born in 1925. Their two other sons, Tracy and Lacy, died in 1919 from influenza, along with James' wife, Mary Catherine Mitchell Meadows.

I am the Great Granddaughter of Ellen Lilly (Meadows) Hardy. I would like to hear from you. I am trying to do the family tree of both of my Great Grandparents as well as other family trees. If it would be possible could you please send me information on the Meadows family tree. I am trying to work on the Hardy side right now. Here is my e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org
I would really like to hear from you.
If you can could you send it as a Word Document file please.
Thank You for any information that you might send.
|Gay Varner Chargualaf||Wadie and Ida Rumfelt|
I was at New Hope Cemetery yesterday and took pictures that you had requested of the memorial for Wadie and Ida Rumfelt. However, I noticed on their findagrave pages that they have children currently living in the area. I would like to have permission from the children before posting anything to their parents' pages. Neither appears to have a listed phone number, but their mailing addresses can be obtained through whitepages.com. If you would care to get their permission, I would be happy to post pictures right away.
My e-mail address is Chargualaf@aol.com.

Betty, you are quite welcome! And thank you for visiting my mom's memorial. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year :)
|Ruth Smith||Norene Hager Rhodes Memorial|
Hello - I think I have a mystery solved concerning Alma Norene Hager Rhodes which you placed at New Lorimier Cemetery here in Cape. She is actually buried at New Lorimier under the name: Norene A. Summers - memorial #8093997. I have placed a picture of her grave there if you would like to see it. You have such a nice biography of her - and I know how difficult it is to add to memorials that have been established before but could you try to contact John Hinkle and ask him to add it to her page? The way I have found to contact him is to click on "edit" and type in your request on the "other" line. He does not respond to messages sent but sometimes does under edit. Ruth SMith (find a grave volunteer nicknamed "The Bulldog" because I won't let go - LOL)
