Please feel free to!
|Ron Cole||Joyce Ripley|
I added that Joyce's name is on the stone also but since she is living she has no memorial number. Also she has since remarried.
Thanks for the help

Thank you so much for your sincere message. If you like, I can pick up where my mom left off. I have the pictures now. We can either arrange a meeting or, if you want to send me your email address, I can email the pictures to you. I have them on my computer or can scan them on. In fact Ezra Conant hangs on my wall in a prominent place with my DAR certificate as his father, Rufus, is my first DAR ancestor! Vicki

Hi Bob. Although from Olivet, I live in WA State now and had those pics in my tree so you are very welcome.
If you go to Hinckley Cem., Huron Co., OH, you will find Sanford's parents, Burgur & Mary (Carman) Mott. That is as far back as we have gotten the Mott line.
Etta (Moses) Mott's husband, William Mott, is also buried at Olivet Cem. He was my gg-grandpa. Can't remember if I posted his pic yet or not, but I will.

Wondering how you are related?

Well, I stopped on my way home (I live in Lansing) this later morning and I had no luck...but, I wasn't able to spend as much time out there as I wanted to. The weather was cruddy (gray, drizzly, humid) and it brought out mosquitoes like crazy. Yikes! I walked half of the cemetery (its pretty small) and many of the older stones are, actually, pretty worn (unreadable). I saw a few where the tops were broken off, as well, but nowhere did I even see a Whittington (unless I hadn't gotten to that area). Cemetery isn't that large! If you are in my area (I saw you had pictures from Eaton County), it may be worth your time to head out there. It's between GR and Maple Island Road in Muskegon (closer to where 37 intersects off of 46)! Its out on a dirt road around farms/orchards so nobody bothers you:) Had I thought it about it before, I would've called Casnovia Township prior to see if they had a plot (their township hours are only until like noon a few days a week).

I saw you have a request out for George Whittington in Hilton Cemetery and a person reported of not being able to find it. In some transcriptions, I don't see a George listed, but his death certificate says here is there. It is entirely possible he doesn't have a headstone....I have to run there for another person and will see what I can find when I get there for you:) I would think they would all be together, but who knows!
