|I came to FAG while working on my family tree. I am retired now and find this an excellent way to get some outdoor activity, digital photography and database exercise. In the course of this hobby, I hope I can provide additional resources for others research. |
I will gladly transfer any non-related (to me) memorial upon request. Please use the EDIT tab to request a transfer.

|Tim Andersen||RE: Ken Albright|
Yes, that was Ken's FCC issued amateur radio call sign that a lot of people knew him as.
He always said WBØGMQ down Orleans way.
He was a character for sure.
|Harold Sendelbach||David Malott Snell|
I'm not sure if I'm related, i'm using DNA to try and find my grandmother's birth parents. I'm investigating a tree of a DNA match to see where the common ancestor might be, but reviewing Daniel Malott Snell's info, it sure looks like the date of death on his tombstone is 1894, not 1884. Just FYI

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am presently working on a project to identify the last resting place of many "old soldiers" that had ties to Vermont. Henry Ballard is one such patriot. May I use the photo you have contributed to his GAG memorial, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
|kaye charles||Charles Fredrich August Penz|
I just made an edit request for Charles F. and knew it didn't sound right. He was NOT born in Nebraska, but in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany and his wife; Magdalena Ketler was born in Scranton, Lackawanna, Pennsylvania.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you for the transfer of my great great great grandparents James and Elizabeth (Yapp) Chapman.
I am thrilled to have them in my care.
Thank you for making their memorials and taking the time to photograph their old cemetery stones.
Find A Grave is a wonderful site but only because of people like you.
#66607126, FOR J.C. GILBERT, IN MAGILL CEMETERY.
YOU HAVE HIS BIRTH IN 1941
AND HIS DEATH IN 1900.
MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THIS ONE OUT AND MAKE CORRECTION.
THANKS YOU ALL YOUR HARD WORK.

Thanks so much for transferring my parents to me!
Thank you for transferring Louise BROMAN Horn to me - I very much appreciate that you created the memorial - and the transfer! What a treasure to find this memorial!
|Harvey H.||RE: Martha Melick|
Martha and Charles Melick are siblings. Mabel was Charles' wife. I've submitted the edits for them as well, so they should be linked soon.
|Julie Liu||Michael Ryan Shanahan|
I am researching Michael Ryan and believe that Michael Ryan Shanahan should be listed as Michael Ryan. #71500697. When you visited Michael Ryan Shanahan's gravesite, the tombstone is for Michael Ryan without Shanahan listed anywhere. Is it possible for you to fix this?
I believe Michael Ryan is the brother of Mary Ryan who was married to Richard Shanahan. Michael appears to have lived with Richard and Mary for some time. Thank you. Julie
