Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an architectural historian in Tucson, AZ. Would be happy to photograph or research any persons who are buried here or lived here or within the area.

My separate focus is on architects and I am trying to add new architects, as well as update any already listed here. If you have additional information on any that I have added, or in general, I would be thrilled to add it!

Hi Catherine, wish I could help you more. That's all I know about John. You could try emailing Magnolia cemetery to see if they have any record of his father. Their email is magnoliacemetery@aol.com

Good luck
John

RE: Robert Mills Bailie
Thanks, Catherine, for the additional info, especially on Robert's wife, Floy. As a footnote, Robert may have been exempt from military service. His draft registration from 1917 mentions his having a childhood ailment. Perhaps he battled ill health all his life, which may account for his relatively early death.

I would love to add a link to her son; however, the person who manages the son's memorial will have to do this. I only have the options to link to parents and spouses.

Robert Mills Bailie
Hi, Catherine. Thanks for telling me about Bailie. It would be very cool if you discovered the buildings he designed in and around Ames. After I received your email, I found the Iowa census for 1925. It shows Bailie living in Ames with his wife, Floy, and one child, Robert.

RE: Jacobberger
Take a look at the new and improved Joseph Jacobberger memorial page (#105834268). I've added a picture, bio and links to some good websites, including the U of Washington's PCAD entry. Speaking of which, I read it, and I can see exactly what the mistakes are. Annie's maiden name really is Lillis; you'll see I linked her to her parents. Kuony is actually Joseph's stepmother Josephine's maiden name. See, his mother was actually Catherine Jacobberger, and she died in France. Cheers :)

Frederick White
Hi,
I took pics per your request for Frederick White. I found the exact spot of where you listed Frederick's gravesite as being. All of the graves surrounding this spot have plot and grave #'s etched into the cemetery border around the stone so there is absolutely no question this spot that I marked is the location you gave for his grave. I made this little marker for situations like this of find a grave site and there being no marker. This helps you see what the area looks like around the burial site. Most people I have seen don't do this. They just add a note to the person's request for a picture that the person does not have any gravestone and don't take any picture of where the grave is.
I also found a funeral notice in the paper for him and added it to his page. If you click on the article where it came from is in the caption note. Hope this helps.
