I am currently researching Foley, Eldridge, Creech, Helton, Pridemore, Cloud, and several more names from my tree.|
I love this site. It's not only a great resource for family trees, but it is also a great site for family members who live in other states to visit their family members grave more often than what they really could. Plus it's easier to find family members graves here than trying to remember exactly where they are in a huge cemetery. Most of my family is from Kentucky and I live in Indiana, so it's hard for me to go looking for them for info, or to visit.
I love to hunt stones for people. It is great exercise, plus it's usually quiet in most cemeteries (kind of relaxing). I learn a lot of history in some of the cemeteries. I'm only interested in setting up memorials for my family. When I get my family ones done, which is a large number, I will start working on cemeteries in my area. Hopefully it will help someone find a family member's burial site, in which they have been looking for and quite seem to locate.
If I do not reply to Thank You messages right away, just know, that it is always a pleasure for me to get out and hunt the stones for you. I try to reply as quick as possible, but it don't always happen. Please bare with me.
***I am currently working on a project involving the Elwood Cemetery in Elwood, IN. I apologize I will only be hunting stones for that cemetery until I can finish my project.***
**You have my permission to use any "headstone photo" I post. They are just pictures that anyone can take, so I don't mind, so no need to ask. However, pictures of the person will need permission.

Thank you so much for taking the time to take this photo and post it. I really appreciate all your effort on my behalf. I am a find-a-grave volunteer on the west coast so I can imagine what you went thru. Thanks so much, you are an angel.

George was born Nov 1865 in Madison Co and died in 1941. I've never been able to find out exactly when in 1941. He and his wife had been living in Indianapolis prior to that.
Thanks so much,

Well, I will keep watching then and look for when you have time to post them. I sure understand what you mean. It's a time consuming project to travel to the cemetery, take and post the photos, etc..

Thank you very much for the photos of the Moyer stones at Elwood and I was thrilled to read your bio that you are working at that cemetery. (I have lots of family in Madison Co.)
I do really appreciate the time you took.

I have Gardners in my background too.
Martha Jane Gardner died in 1957 - was my great grandmother - they all came from Madison Co.
They had so many kids it's hard to figure them all out LOL

Do you know Jimmy's parents names?
If so let me know and maybe I can get them linked.

That's a shame that he doesn't have a marker.
I have a life long friend whose only living sibling will not put a stone on her grave - he hated her and won't let anyone else put a marker
That is so sad.
I printed out a bunch of obits from 98 and 99 years ago and just found them - trying to put them on Find A Grave - 3" at least
Thank you for your help
