Bio Photo I started researching my family history in 1998, shortly after my son was born. He was born with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and since CF is a genetic disease, i was determined to find out who in my family history had CF. I am proud to have found 1 person that had it and possibly 2 other people.

I walked the whole cemetery & was not able to locate a stone for her. Maybe someone else will have better luck. Sorry.

We need your help! As we reach the final remaining photo requests at Calvary Cemetery, the photographers need an exact burial location since there are over 100,000 burials. Please call their office at (419) 536-3751 and then update the listing. Thanks!

Peter Mann, James & Mary Smith
I was going to photograph these stones but none of them are listed in the cemetery book printed in 1986. So I am wondering if you have any idea where in Monroe Cem they are buried? Are you sure that is where they are buried? Regards

Benjamin F Pontious
I was able to find part of his headstone. It is at the foot of his mother's grave. Thomas's is not far away, and it is lying with some other stones. It is so sad to see the state of this cemetery. So many stones are gone, or are piled up around the perimeter. You are fortunate that your family members stones are there. The "Pontious" memorial is the largest and nicest of all in the very small cemetery. I hope this pleases you.

RE: Bell
I created memorials for Alta and Perry and transferred them to you just like I did for William. Hope you don't mind me doing it that way.

I also have pics of the stones of Perry and Alta Bell which were located next to Esther and William.

RE: Mann and smith photo requests
Not that I know of but the cemetery is on two sides (west and east) of the road.

FYI the published cemetery records for Monroe cemetery which were compiled in 1986 do not list those names. Are you sure that is where they were buried? There are other cemeteries in the area.
