Bio Photo I live in Pittsburgh and love spending my spare time wandering around in cemeteries. I have a passion for history, genealogy and old graveyards. Now that my 4 kids are raised, I try to get myself out there as much as I can. I think it is important to record as much of these old records as possible. I am thankful to all of you who have done the legwork when I couldn't and now am happy to help other researchers with their requests.

RE: Mary Lytle
It was my pleasure. I love finding direct relatives because I know how much that means those that request them. Anyway I it gave me something to do while visiting family in the area. Her husband's marker may still be there someplace. Many markers are now piled up in a section of the cemetery. I'm not from this area and don't know the story there. Perhaps they fell over and were moved years ago. After walking the cemetery I went through as many as I could get to and reach. I didn't see it but maybe someone with more strength to move those heavy stones will uncover what I could not. Best of luck!

Thank you so much for taking these pictures for me! I really appreciate it. Now I have pictures of my 4th great grandparents headstone, and what a beautiful headstone and cemetery!

You're welcome. Glad to help out. Thanks for the nice compliments. It was (unfortunately) raining the day we were there so wasn't sure how the pics would come out.

I misspoke. I meant to say Sarah his wife. His mother's name is also Sarah. Thank you for your help!

RE: Oak Grove Cemetery
Thanks! I doubt if that person is his mother. I will try to call the cemetery and see what I can find.
