James Cottrell

Thank you for the information on James Cottrell.

I have deleted my entry since there is a James Cottrell buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Farmingdale, NJ.

I rely almost solely on the Red Bank Register which is NOT always correct in its information.

Thank you for writing and have a great day!

Theodora Woolley

OK - thanks! but your first line confuses me.

Mike, the birth date is 1877 (see grave marker). Exact date is 12 May 1887.

the birth date is 1877

the exact date is 12 May 1887?

Do you mean - 12 May 1877?

thanks!

Lambert W. Bennett

This is why genealogy can drive me to drink - the very same records for an individual can have discrepancies, errors, etc. Or there could very well be two different "Lambert W. Bennett" people - though I think the first name is rather an uncommon one - but sometimes cousins can end up with the same name.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Mike

I have a marriage record for Lambert W Bennett, marrying Nellie Roach at Manhattan, NY on 15 Feb 1885. Both of Lambert's parents are named --Chas. L. Bennett and Lydia S Morris. Marrige record says he is 22 at date of marriage, but a birth record for the same person, same parents, has date of birth 19 May 1864 in Ocean Township.

Henry C Maps - FYI

The Red Bank Register is online and available for anyone to view.

The citing is:

9/25/1918 pg. 6

Henry C. Maps
Civil War Vet.

so Henry must have passed around September instead of November as you had suggested.

I did not have this citing on my page when I created it, and I have not looked at this obituary or death notice, but most of my work deals with the RBR - Red Bank Register.

Again,

Mike

Henry C Maps

I began to make the changes you suggested in your email to me, however, Henry already has a page in Greenlawn Cemetery, so you might want to consider sending that person who made the page in Greenlawn Cemetery with the suggestions you provided to me.

I have deleted my page now.

thank you,

Mike

You sent me a correction for a maiden name of Metzgar. Another member who is related to her gave me Cuthrell. What is your source? Her number is 73918388.. I can't just accept it when a person I know is related gave me a different maiden name.

because you've duplicated a memorial made for him on Dec 29, 2010. The rules are first come first serve.

Hi, Michigan marriage record between Leota Shively & Fred L Conant says that her parents are Henry and Margaret Shively. Leota was born in Indiana, residing in Custer, Mason County MI at the time of her marriage. 1880 Michigan census does not show her with these people, but possible she was at someone else's home at the time the census was taken.
