In addition to some family names I have entered on F-A-G, I've submitted all the names from the History of Surry, published 1925, onto Find-A-Grave. As far as I know, I'm not related to any of them! I'm trying to put as much info. from the genealogy section of the book in the memorials as I can, though it will take a few years to get through everything. If you're related to someone and wish to manage the memorial, please send me a request and I'll transfer the memorial to you.

Would you please transfer Rebecca Robbins Blake

Also, do you, by chance, know if you have Rebecca Robbins Blake's husband's headstone? Just curious.

Thank you very much!
Hi Kim,

I just wanted to thank you for your hard work. It means a lot to me that Jonathan Robinson's plaque is there, and I should definitely make sure I head up to Surry before I move to Buffalo as I am only two hours away in Massachusetts from Surry. Also, to find Jonathan Robinson's plaque the day before July 4 meant so much :)

Jonathan and Betty Robinson

I'm looking for my ancestors, Jonathan Robinson and his first wife, Betty Chadwick Robinson. They lived in Andover, MA and moved to Surry in the 1790s. I saw on Find-a-Grave that they were burried in the Surry Village Cemetery, yet when I went this summer to look for their graves, I could not find them. Did the gravestones fall apart?

I saw in the Surry, New Hampshire book that Jonathan's grave has the following on a bronze tablet:

Born in Andover, Mass.

June 25, 1753.

Died in Surry, N. H.

Mar. 17, 1838.

A Soldier of the Revolution."

Is this tomb still around? I would like pictures if the tomb can be found. Thank you

Kim, I btkink I have a copy of the history of Surry, found it on line. Do not see a reference to James Philbrick and Pine grove cemetery. Was it in this book?
