Bio and Links
Bio Photo I don't remember for sure how I first found Find A Grave. But in looking at many of the memorials that others had contributed it didn't take long to realize what a great benefit Find A Grave can be. I enjoy taking pictures of headstones as time permits and it is my hope that readers will benefit from the memorials and pictures I post.

Currently I'm researching the surnames of Bales and Richard (no 's' on the end of Richard).

If you find any errors in my memorials or would like to add information please contact me by suggesting a correction.

And a big thanks to all of you who have been so dedicated in taking pictures and adding memorials.

Elijah Harrison Richard, Sr.
HI Don,
Thank you for reminding me I had not finished this memorial. I was amazed to see 23 children and just wanted to confirm that before I listed them.

I have not set up a memorial for John Marshall Richard because I know nothing about his passing. As soon as I get more info, I will set him up and you will see him as a link on your 2nd Gr-Grandfather's memorial.

Elijah's sister Rachel is my 2nd Gr-Grandmother.

Pleasant Marshall Bales
I, too, ended up in Sheps Canyon looking for Mr. Bales. I spend several hours in the area but could not locate Sheps Flats, if that's where he is buried, I'm not sure as he was :buried on a hill as the water was high." If you find any more about it please let me know.

Shep's Flat
Do you have a GPS for it? I know of Shep's Canyon, but not Shep's Flat.
