About 6 months ago, you added my great grandmother, Agnes O'Hara Donahue. Thank you very much!! I've been researching my family history on Ancestry.com and have hit a brick wall with her husband, John Donahue. I've spoken with the cemetery, who told me he is also buried there with her. According to the very nice lady I spoke with, he was buried in 1938. I saw an unsourced claim online that he died in Dec 1937. The problem I have run into with him is I cannot figure out who his parents are based on census records available online because he couldn't decide if he was born in 1860, 1862, or 1865 in the 10 different census records I have for him as an adult. None of his adult records contain any sibling or parent information, so I can't figure out which of the many "John Donahue" as a juvenile census records belong to him. Do you have any information about him or his parents? Thanks again for adding great grandma!

NO! I will totally rage and be a big meanie and not delete the memorial just to be a pain in the butt!
Haha, just kidding! I've deleted it, thanks for letting me know about it. I hope Florida is warm, up here in Upstate sure isn't, we still have a couple feet of snow on the ground!

I thought I was clear. I was just wondering why he changed from the Surname Markham to Tuttle. Thought you might know something. In my first message I included all the connections that I know at this time. Just thought you might have more insight.
In 1910 Everett and family including Lilah were going by the surname Markham and then in 1920 they were all going by the Tuttle surname. I was wondering if you knew the reason for the change.

Everett A Tuttle. I am contacting as I hope you have the answer to a little mystery with Everett and Eva. Everett was born to Clark Markham & Doretta Traverse. He was Everett A Markham. He used the Markham Surname in 1910 and in the 1920 census he switched to Tuttle. Eve is the Daughter of Ben Ramsdell & Eliza Dewey. Eliza later married Clark Markham, Everett's father. Delilah Markham is Clark's sister married Edgar Tuttle. Just was wondering why the switch?
Thanks for you help.
Best Wishes, Heather

Don: My Grandmother Stafford was Nellie Mae Thurston
Her father was Alvin Perry Thurston.
Alvin had a brother Joseph Thurston who was Ruby Thurston's father.
Ruby was Earl's mother.
Best I can do.
After many years I found Joseph's parents William W. Thurston and his wife Ruby Babbitt and put them on WWW.findagrave.com.
