Sorry, I forgot to include the memorial number for James Albert Coyle. It is: 60163723.

I was just wondering if this is the same James Coyle that was aboard the Lady Hawkins when she sank in 1942. Of course, I realize that you may not be related either, and are maybe only managing the memorial, but I just wondered if you knew.
I sent you an e-mail as well, but thought that I would mention it here too, in case the e-mail did not reach you.

Hi Joanne, We are related. Francis Marion was the son of Simeon Coyle. Simeon had a younger brother, Thomas Coyle 1814-1854 and my line runs through Thomas. Do you know Missouri history? Thomas married one of the Roy daughters. The Roys were French Canadians. They settled in Missouri and set up a trading post. They had 13 daughters to marry off. Thomas Coyle married Louisa Roy. Their son Joseph Roy Coyle 1838-1928 ran with Quantrille. (is that spelled properly) The family homesteaded in Benton, AR. The next generation moved to OK, and then moved on to CA. We are still here in CA. I love the Coyles. contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org I'd love to hear from you.
