|KRuc||James Draper Lawson|
I came across this in an internet search, and I see where my grandfather, James Draper Lawson of Hillsboro, VA, is listed and his grave is photographed. What a nice gesture and inclusion into this virtual world!
I was curious (and this is what drove my internet search this morning), I know that my grandfather was embarrassed by his middle name "Draper", and in my own geneological research I see that his grandfather was a James Draper, like his father before him, and so on. Do you happen to know the origin of the name Draper, which seems to have been handed down even from the 1600s?

Hi. My dad's great aunt was Virgie Lawson. Virgie's parents were Antoinette and Jefferson Davis Murphy. If you could, would you mind adding Antoinette and Jefferson as her parents on family links? Thanks, Brian.

Hi my name is Brian Myers. My great great grandfather was Solomon Walker (1852-95). His son and my great grandfather was Frank Buckley Walker (1889-1963). Frank was a famous talent agent and author and discovered many singers such as Bessie Smith and Hank Williams. I know this is kind of random, but would you mind going to my great grandfather's page and giving him a fame rating? He's buried in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, Ny on Long Island. His full name is shown on the memorial and on the search results (Frank Buckley Walker). You probably haven't heard of him, but if you read his biography, I'll guarantee you he was an amazing influence, father, and husband. It would mean a lot to me. Also, can I have management of Virgie Lawson? She was my dad's grandma Nellie Murphy's sister and I have info on the whole Murphy family.

Thanks for the corrections. Its great to have someone help in deciphering the hard to read stones. Sheila

Hi Carty, Have added your suggestions. I saw where you had him listed as living in Druck Valley. I grew up there and don't remember any Strickler families, but we moved there in 1956, maybe when he died they lost all connections to Druck Valley. Sheila

Hi! I've added the links for Ola's parents as you suggested. If you'd like to maintain any of the pages I've added, just let me know which ones and I'll be happy to do it.
I just sent you and email about the Lawson Cemetery and then found your note about Nicie. Brandenburgs live down the road from me. I spoke at the church last month about bringing the Kemptown cemetery to the digital age. I am hoping to meet with the Brandenburgs to see what, if any, photos and stories I could add to all the Brandenburgs buried there. I will let you know. If you have any photos, meanwhile, please share! Talk to you soon, Jeana

Thank you for the information. I have updated her memorial.
I see that you have some duplicates of 7880084 Earl Frances Day and 7880086 Fairy Lawson Day. I entered mine in 2003 and I believe you entered yours in 2012. Most of the time if you check with the person who originally entered the memorial they would be happy to transfer management to you.
