Bio and Links
In 1977 I attended my first Highland Games and wondered where and when my fore fathers came to this country. This started a desire to record my family's history.

It has been fun and rewarding. I have met distant cousins that were happy that someone was eager to record what they knew about their family members.

Over the past 35 years, I have written 3 books on the Cameron families of Robert and Mary Ann (Worthington) Cameron. I have the 1837 James Cameron family Bible with many events that have documented family mild stones since the early days of the territory and state of Iowa.

With a few road blocks over the years to find out where and when my Cameron family came from, I have enjoyed the hunt to find the first family member to come from Scotland to America. There are a few leads, but only time will tell if they will pan out to the one that made all of this possible.

I am willing to share what I have, I am not a hoarder of the history that I have written, I am the best point of contact for my Cameron clan.

Chuck

Pictures taken and posted. I also replaced the photos on her husband's memorial with better shots.

I checked Forest Lawn's website and couldn't find them. That doesn't mean they are not there, I have found dozens of people who are buried there who don't show up on the website. But if you get some free time you might want to call the cemetery and see if they have a record of the two of them.

Camerons - Forest Lawn
Hi Chuck, Thanks for the info on Constance, I updated her memorial and transferred her to you. Very likely Pauline is in the same niche with Charles & Constance, but I will check it out. As for David and Cynthia, if they are buried in Forest Lawn, it would be the one in GLendale, not Hollywood Hills, since Hollywood Hills was not in existence at the time of their deaths. I will see what I can find out about them as well when I have a chance.

Marker Photos Forest Lawn
Your best bet to get a photo is to put out photo requests on the memorials you want. I do some photo volunteering at Forest Lawn but not that much, I have been concentrating on the outdoor sections, I know there are some people are do photos inside some of the mausoleums but I don't know the ins and outs of that, I know some of the mausoleums have security cameras and supposedly you can get kicked out for trying to take pictures. But do put out a photo request for anything you want, if someone can get a picture they will post it.

Hi Chuck,

I have updated his memorial and transferred him to you. I found Constance and created a memorial for her, do you have the dates for her? She appears to be in the same niche as Charles. Sorry, I can't find Pauline, if she is at Forest Lawn she is not near Charles and Constance or she is buried under a different surname. BTW, what is your source for Charles's father being buried in Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills? That is a newer cemetery than Glendale and if he died in 1912 it is very unlikely he would be buried in Hollywood Hills, which as far as I know had no burials until the 1930s or later.
