Bio Photo My husband and I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I love reading the memorials and the peacefulness of the cemetery it self.. This website has given us a good excuse to spend more time visiting them without just seeming weird to our friends! LOL

I found this letter and thought it might be interesting to add to his bio, I need no credit as it is available online: The G in his name was for Goodwin.

Apalachicola Lodge No. 76
December 1, 2015 ·
What: Religious Affirmation Day
Where: Old Town United Methodist Church
25633 S.E. Hwy 19
Old Town, FL 32680
Service begins at 9:30 AM

I am sure you have received via email, an invitation from R:.W:. John C. Barber DDGM for the 8th Masonic District in regards to our “Religious Affirmation Day” to be held at Old Town United Methodist Church on December 13 in Old Town, Florida at 9:30 AM. I am looking forward to seeing my brothers and their wives at my church that Sunday. We will not be wearing aprons during the service. All Brothers are invited to attend.

In addition to our regular Worship Service, which should last about an hour or so, any interested Masons and their wives are invited to visit the final resting place here in Old Town, about a mile and a half from the church, of M.W. Fletcher Goodwin McQueen who was G.M. of Masons of Florida in 1961. M:.W:. McQueen was born in Old Town, Florida on September 16, 1912, and went to the Celestial Lodge above on September 23, 1981 while living here in Old Town. I will offer a prayer for our P:.G:. M:. and all Masons living and dead, and our DDGM, R:. W.:. John C. Barber will offer a few remarks.

I hope you will join us on this solemn occasion immediately following the service.

Nancy Leggett
Hi Karen, thanks for this photo. I think there is a good chance this grave belongs to Nancy Leggett, b. abt 1883 in that area. Her parents would have been Robert J. Leggett (1834-1910) and Elizabeth Miller (1842-1910). Siblings are: John Leggett (1860-); Emily "Emma" (1860-); Minnie "Mary" (1866-); William Wesley (1867-1928); Lee (1872-); Mariam Elizabeth (1874-1920); Louis Alexander (1874-1900); Luvicy (1878-); J. H. (1881-); and Isaac Halton (1883-1938). Hope anyone searching can help confirm.

Thanks again!

I'm sorry, I dont know who this is. I may have just been flowering various cemeteries and came across his memorial. I dont like seeing memorials without flowers. I hope this is the person your looking for! Best of luck!

Thank you seems so small in words. Your kindness is unparalleled in words of gratitude. I appreciate your photos of Lindon Lindsey and Isabelle Holder's headstone.

Warm regards, Gail Strother
