Dear Kimberly,
Apropos of nothing, what is the ancestry of your beautiful dogs?

John F. Shroyer #76157475
First of all, thank you for posting John F. Shroyer including photo of headstone.

I am a bit confused as to why you are stating he was born to Joseph B. Shroyer and Mary Ann Hamilton in 1833 and had a brother Thomas Shroyer who was born in 1827.

Yet you have him linked to correct parents - Thomas Shroyer and Catherine (Frye) Shroyer.

He did have a brother - Thomas Burton Shroyer b 05 Oct 1839 - d 07 Mar 1882 and who is buried in same cemetery. Thomas' wife, Margaret Amy Moore, then married John F. Shroyer on 09 Jun 1887 in Shelby Co., OH.

John F. Shroyer and first wife, Sarah Hudlow, had circa 15 children.

Thanks for your attention.

Hi Kimberly, Thank you for all you do. I have visited the grave of Christopher Chronabery at the Houston Cemetery recently and noticed the headstone was not on its base like in your photo. Do you know who I would contact to fix it?

Wm. Edgell photo request
Hi, Kimberly,
In an effort to winnow down the number of Find-a-Grave photo requests in my area, I am asking for your help.
Forest Home cemetery limits the amount of information it will dole out to one person--and they've pretty much let me know I've reached my lifetime limit. If you can contact their office for the plot location of the photos you're requesting, it will speed along the process of your getting photographs.
Here is the contact info:
Phone: (708) 366-1900; fax: (708) 366-1921
PLEASE ask if there is a headstone.

RE: Roy Christian's picture
I have taken pictures of ALL stones that werent buried at Old Harris Creek and have added them to Find A Grave. The cemetery is in bad condition and gets worse every year. A few miles away from Old Harris Creek is the Christian Cemetery. It also is in bad shape. It is located on my grandmothers grandfathers farm. That is why I am interested in the Christian line.
