Hi, The edit decline was for your request to change the spelling of her name to Catherine with 2 e's. My sources-the 1850-1900 census records, a family member's death certificate, the Rev Hans Herr Gen. book on pg 54, and her headstone-all spell her name through the span of fifty plus years as Catharine with 2 a's.

Thanks for the additional family info! I looked up the census and other records I consulted when I added their headstones photos. I put additional info on each of their sites and linked the 1st wife. All the official records I consulted plus her headstone have the 2nd wife's name spelled as Catharine with 2 a's, so I'm keeping that spelling.

It looks like she was indeed the 1st wife of John Mowrey Herr. Thank-you for contacting me.

Hi, In trying to find a resource for your suggestion addition of her maiden name -all I can find is a death certificate for son Adam Herr which lists mother as Catharine Temple. I've added her maiden name as Temple and I am happy to change to Templeton if you can provide the resource.

Hi-I added and engagement photo on Walter's memorial. I can take it down if you'd like. Let me know.

I have made your recommended changes. Did you know that you can make your own changes now under the edit tab?? You can change names, DOB, DOD, and link family members.
Give it a try and welcome to the find a grave community!!!

Thanks for catching my error on the incorrect cemetery. I edited his memorial to Landisville Mennonite Cemetery.

Thanks for updates.
Do you know what happened to original listing of Masonville cemetery?
Usually when this happens someone has made up a bogus cemetery without checking or doesn't care about previous hard work already done.

Hi-I would be happy to connect the daughters to the parents, however, I don't maintain the children's memorials & there is no way to connect children, only parents. You'll have to contact the person that listed those two memorials. Sorry
