I am from Portsmouth , Scioto County , Ohio . I enjoy Genealogy and the research of my many Family Tree lines. I also visit Cemeteries of my Ancestors and record their history .
I have found out many interesting things about my Family Tree . I have discovered that I have deep " Dutch " roots that trace back to Colonial NEW Netherlands( America) before 1642, some 130 years before the American Revolution. I also have many family ancestors that trace back to early New England Colonial-American families. Many of my Family lines trace back to England , France , Netherlands , Ireland and Scotland . One Family branch the " Coryell / Coriell " used to hang out with George Washington during the American Revolution .* see Coryell Ferry 1776 .
Perhaps the most interesting , is that I am related to the " Gorsuch " family that settled Baltimore, Maryland in the mid 1600's. My Gorsuch ancestors are descendend from " Royal Lines " of Europe , including many Kings and Queens of England ,France , Spain , Scotland and more..
I also have many German & Prussian Immigrant lines from the mid 1800's .
later , many of my family ancestors migrated west and became early pioneers & settlers of Kentucky and Ohio . I am connected to many of the Earliest Families of Scioto County Ohio .
feel free to contact me , I am willing to help other families to obtain a gravesite photo of their ancestors in Scioto County . I am happy to photograph their ancestors for them .
I also want Find-a-Grave Volunteers to send photos of the Gravesites of my family ancestors that I cannot travel to... I have Many out of State Gravestites that I would like photographed...
Thanks ,
Aaron

 | RE: Alice ( Smith ) DeAtley Thank you, Aaron. I did receive the death certificate and appreciate it. My relationship here is so remote, I don't think I need to delve into it any more. But thank you for your willingness to help. Best wishes, Carl | | | Nancy Roberts
 | Robert Walker You have posted a picture of Robert Walker on his findagrave page. I would like permission to use it on my ancestry, as I do not have one of him. He is my grandmother's brother. On a different subject. My grandfather, Arthur Goddard lived in Scioto Co. his whole life. His parents and sisters are buried in the Old Wheelersburg Cemetery. Do they keep records at that cemetery to show who is there? Granted, he could be buried elsewhere, but I don't think so. Any suggestions. Thanks for your help. | | | Debbie J
