I was born in Paducah, Kentucky and I live in Loveland, Ohio. I love researching my family ancestry and I adore history! I'm currently working on my membership into the Daughters of the American Revolution. |
I'm happy to be a member and contributor here at Find A Grave.
"It is worthwhile for anyone to have behind him a few generations of honest, hard-working ancestry."

What a sweet reply, Alissa, and I appreciate it very much. I do hope you are accepted into DAR and you probably will be. Who is it you are going in under? Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Please send me your McWhirter & Whitehead line, parents, grandparents and great grandparents, and I will try to figure out how we are related. Glenda

|Brian||Margaret Wall, request claim|
I just saw that you claimed my request for Margaret Wall and I wanted to thank you. Margaret isn't a relative of mine, but my last name is Wall and my Wall family did live in Cincinnati (all now deceased) so I added all the Walls in Gate of Heaven on the chance I might help someone one day.
I looked at your contributor page tho and saw that you were born in Paducah and was confused for a minute, haha. See, my parents grew up in Paducah an were raised there and I have tons of family still living there.
The Walls came to Paducah from Cincinnati in 1926 and my uncle and his children and their families live there.
I love visiting Paducah and usually do about once a year. I live outside of Philadelphia, PA.
Just thought you might get a kick out of that. Have a great day.
