Someone must have provided that information, as I would not have that info handy. If there are any corrections, please provide them.

Thank you so much for the photo for Stephen. He was one of over 800 men from Iowa that died in Vietnam. He was with B Company 1st Battalion of the 12th Infantry Regiment. Soon I will have them all back together again where they belong and then my work will be done.

Hi Susan,

I mentioned to my good friend Jess that I had a stillborn brother and that I wanted to find his grave. She found it within minutes! I was so surprised. It was so nice to see his headstone. I had seen it once in a photograph as a child. I told Jess I want to see it in person one day. I noticed you took the photograph. Thank you so much! Even though he was born before me, I feel sentimental about my parents' loss and subsequently the siblings born after him. It really does mean a lot even just seeing the photograph and knowing where he is buried. Thanks really so very much!

Good morning Susan,

Thank you so much for the correction. This grave is my father-in-law's. He and my husband had been estranged from each other when Robert died, and did not know where he was buried. We were really thankful that Ancestry sent a message about it. Thank you for what you are doing with Find A Grave. We live in New Jersey, so coming to visit his grave is a hardship. We would like to find out about how to have flowers and grave blankets put on the grave. Do you know of someone to contact on this?

Thanks again.

Thank you so much for your participation in this wonderful undertaking. This is my father-in-law's gravesite, and we live quite a distance away. Could you please correct his birthdate to 23 April 1923?

I remain so very grateful.

Kind regards,

Lin Tarr
