RE: DNA testing
The other DNA tests seem kind of inconclusive to me--until I understand the process and the matches better, I will stick to interpreting the YDNA because it seems likelier to identify the correct ancestor in some cases.

We are stuck at an ancestor who was born in 1767 named Phineas Osborn--he lived in Herkimer, Oneida, then Jefferson counties in NY; before then we think he was in Albany and before that we are not sure. This is a brick wall for us, though we have a likely tree based on DNA that goes further back. David was of interest to us since he was in the same area at the same time, we think. But he's not old enough to be an ancestor.

RE: David Osborn
My father is an Osborn and he did the YDNA test, so he has his group figured out. Has anyone in your line had that particular test? I will switch to email after this.

RE: David Osborn
If I find something I will let you know. Do you know if anyone in your tree has done a DNA test?

RE: David Osborn
He is a cousin of mine too, but I have not established the exact connection. I hope you find the memorial suitable--and that you can add more information. Thanks.

RE: Grave sites of Frank and Helen Kelsaw
Lynn, You are very welcome. Your statement that you finally were able to see your Grandparents final resting place is the reason I do this. I am going to have a glass of wine with dinner tonight. Leon

RE: Elanore and Edward Gilkey
Hi, sorry for the delay you can link Elanore to her mother by copying and pasting her mothers memorial number to Elanore under edit relationships.

You can link your mother to your grandmother the same way.

Edward is the father of my cousin Robert who lives in Medford. I spent several days with him 3 years ago or maybe it was 4, lol.

Hope this helps.

RE: Elanore and Edward Gilkey
Hello, I am at a loss, lol happens when you do ancestry. Are you talking about Elanore Weinig and Edward Sylvester Gilkey? Both died in Oregon. I do not have any Miggs listed in my tree, so I must be missing a link somewhere. Did I make the memorials? What numbers are they? Wait to hear back from you.
