Another one:
See memorial #68825187. Haha! Just to make my point, this other Harriet's maiden name was Brady. Have you looked at any of the other Bradys in Inglewood to see if they are also your relatives? Frank, Margaret, Myrtle and Rose are all in my 'management' so let me know if they are related to you.

Best regards,

RE: Harriette/Harriet Brady
I guess you can handle them, if you want to. The only real reason I have for sticking to the Find a Grave guidelines is because I kept getting requests for transfers of very distantly related people, and it started to annoy me when I would look at the memorials weeks later and see absolutely nothing was added to them. Just name collectors, that's all. But if you have a real interest in maintaining them because you have more info to add, etc. then I wouldn't mind handing them over. You obviously have an interest, due to your possession of photos!

Thanks for being patient with me while I was discovering that these two people were not the same person!

Regarding the area, there are tons of Bradys around here. This is a very populated area. Rose Hills in Whittier is not that close to here, either. So it makes sense that there could be two people with the same name. I do a lot of work at Inglewood Park Cemetery and there are MULTIPLE people with the same name buried there, because there are over 300,000 people buried there. Common names are plentiful!

I will do the transfer later. I'm still at work right now. I'll 'talk' to you in a little while.

Harriette/Harriet Brady
Well, I got the manager of the wrong Harriet to unlink her to Ira, but for some reason, he transferred her memorial to me! Don't know why; I didn't ask for it. But since he has his messages disabled, I'm not going to bother him about it.

Anyway, I think you should remove your photo from the wrong Harriet. Now that they are unlinked, to find her you can do a search for her memorial number, which is 114945095.

Best regards,

Harriette/Harriet Brady
I did some checking and sure enough, there are two Harrietts. The one at Rose Hills was born in 1922 in California and died in 1976, which does not match the headstone. She is a different person than the Harriette who is buried with Ira. I suggest you remove your portrait photos from the memorial in Rose Hills. I have added a correct memorial for Harriette in Inglewood, and linked her to Ira.

I will send a SAC to the manager of the one in Rose Hills, asking to have them unlinked. I cannot do that from this end.

Glad this got straightened out.

Best regards,

PS -
I just noticed a previous message to you from me regarding a photo for Ira. I have to apologize. It apparently went completely off my radar. Looks like I was working on finding it last summer and never did.

Ira & Harriette Brady
Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo request and just wanted you to know that Harriette is buried with Ira. Apparently, there is a memorial for her at Rose Hills (in Whittier). Ira and the Harriet (sp?) at Rose Hills are linked together and so I have to assume that someone either has her in the wrong cemetery, or else the one in Rose Hills is not the correct Harriet. The office staff at Inglewood confirmed that she is buried there. When I added the photos to Harriet's memorial, it said "Success" that I had fulfilled a photo request. I don't know if the request was yours, but it surprised me because I would not have claimed any requests as far away as Whittier. At least I know that no one else had claimed the request!

Anyway, I am going to leave this up to you, if you want, to figure out if the Harriet at Rose Hills is the correct person and if so, you will need to ask the manager of that memorial to change it to Inglewood.

Best regards,

RE: Robert Gay Shuttleworth
Tracey, There is no Moose section in the Yuma Pioneer Cemetery. The admin folks at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens were able to find interrment records for Bob Shuttleworth. He is located in the FOE (Eagles) section in Yuma Pioneer Cemetery. He is in Lot 10, Space 2 between Joseph W Hamon and Mr & Mrs Leslie King. There is no headstone for Bob. The photo shows his location between the King and Hamon markers. The second photo shows a wider view looking SE. Please send a note to me at so that I can get these photos to you.

Tracey, I will be in town tomorrow and do a search for you. The Moose section in actually located in the old City/Pioneer Cemetery which is adjacent to the Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens. The latter has some records for the old cemetery but most records have been lost. Cross your fingers.

RE: Thank you
when you send a message about a memorial, you must state whose memorial it is, otherwise it can not be understood.

ie grandfather Bert. Bert Who???

RE: Ira F Brady
Sorry, I don't have them, but I can get them on the weekend. Please don't click on "Request a Photo" or I will probably not be able to claim it before someone else does.

I'll let you know when the photos have been added.

Best regards,
