Padgett Researcher Ruth the Sleuth
Dorcy May Lynch
Hello,

You posted a note on the memorial for Alvin T. Thompson (#47633174) showing that he was Dorcy May Lynch's first husband.

Would you happen to know the first names of her other two husbands?

I am a Padgett family researcher and believe that Dorcy's third husband was Arthur Buford Padgett but would like more confirmation.

And, I haven't been able to figure out the first name of her second husband, a Mr. McCulley, and was wondering if you might know.

Thanks for your help.

I put in an edit for his date of death. On the memorial it says he died Oct 3, 1915. It stated in the Sept 30th edition of the Ardmore paper he was buried on Sept 30, 1915. This would be bad if he was buried alive. Thanks

Wm Bradford
Have you joined the Mayflower Society yet? You can if you have documentation that you are a BLOOD relative of Wm Bradfor. I've done it. I'm related to TWO original Mayflower pilgrims. Carole

Norman /Huffman
Just to let you know, I have found the Sarah that married a Huffman.

Sarah Elizabeth Norman married Alexander Wiseman Huffman, and they have a daughter, Mary Lucy Huffman buried at Norman Valley Cemetery. This little girl was only 3 yrs. old when she died.

Alexander Wiseman Huffman and Sarah Elizabeth Norman are buried at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Van Zandt Co. TX. They have 3 or 4 more children besides Mary Lucy.
If you will go to the Norman Valley Cem. you will see all the tombstones have been found and pictures taken of them. A cousin of mine who lives in TX took all these pictures. Turns out that Sarah Norman was a second wife to Yewen Norman, not WP Norman as I thought. WP was a brother to Emily Norman Chance. They had his dates posted wrong on Find A Grave.

This cousin of mine has been digging for information also, and has come up with a lot of new info. on the Norman family.

I am going to look into the Huffman side now, and leave the Norman's to him for awhile.

I lost your e-mail when I was forced to go to the new yahoo mail, so I had to post this through Find A Grave
Hope you are doing well. Pat
