Genealogy has been a fun hobby for me on and off for the last 30 years.

I am researching the descendants of my great, great grandparents. Their names were:
Andrew Scott and Phebe Rudesill,
Ludwig and Sarah Guiser,
Christian and Elsie Krogh,
Owen and Mary Knerr
Joseph and Susan Cherry,
Jonathan and Mary Nelson
William and Agness Turner and
Eli and Emma Herbert.

I would love to connect with anyone working on these family histories. I try to find as many obituaries and photos as I can to help document my ancestor's life.

I am also working on documenting the Mount Olivet Cemetery in New Centerville, Wisconsin. Many of my ancestors are buried there. It is fascinating to discover the connections between the families that lived in the area. If you have info to share please email me.

Mary Turner
I contacted Curlew Hills memorial Gardens Cemetery and this was their response...I have checked our records and we did handle the cremation for Mary A
Turner in 1985 but her cremated remains were returned to the family for disposition.
Please let me know I can be of any further assistance.

James B. Herbert
Hello Jane,
What I would suggest that you do is contact the caretaker for Silverdale cemetery. He or she may have a burial listing. I do not know who the caretaker is but most of the local funeral homes in the area do have contact listings for cemetery caretakers. I would recommend calling Rindt-Erdman funeral home in Arkansas City, KS. (620) 442-3210.

I have photographed the entire Silverdale cemetery but there were a few unreadable markers and I'm sure there are unmarked burials there as well. James Herbert may be buried there but unmarked.

Good Luck on your search.

Take care

RE: Mary Turner
Please resend me her full name. I see you deleted it from FindAGrave. Does you Mom recall anything else about the cemetery or mausoleum? Could it have been in Sylvan Abbey in Clearwater? That is the other large cemetery here. If you call there, and she is there, can you please ask them the name or location of the mausoleum within their grounds. They are not helpful to FindAGrave photographers like me in providing locations...perhaps they are more helpful to family. Let me know.

RE: Mary Turner
I go to other cemeteries also, so will check around and see if I can locate her. Hopefully so.
