I have recently begun researching my ancestry, which led me to this wonderful site. I am happy to take photographs of graves in my area for anyone who puts in a requests, provided that request also includes the location of the grave within the cemetery - most of the cemeteries in the area do not have visitors' offices open on weekends, which is when I make most of my visits.|

Hi Coleen, You are very welcome and thank you for your kind words. It is great to learn part of the story about the ones I have cleaned headstones of. I will happily transfer over the memorial to family where it belongs. It will be done shortly. If I can ever help again please let me know. Blessings Jo

Im not sure if my reply got through so i will do another ,first of all very very pleased to hear from you ,My great great grandad was Henry Chapman b 1846 ,he was Fredericks b1842 brother and i still live in Markfield Leicestershire ,like most of my family before me i work in the building trade (mainly stonework )i have always been interested in the Chapman family and was always willing to listen when relatives who i worked with such as my dad grandad uncles etc talked about people such as Frederick,bless him,ive been researching the family for nearly 30 years and would be delighted to share any imformation i have with you,have you been in touch with a Nicole Chapman Beaver, from California?her father Peter Chapman went over to America in the 50s and she is ,or was very keen ,the most important question i have for the moment is! do you know if Frederick went to America with any of his brothers because it would fit in with what we know ,or think we know about one of the most infamous members of the family (slight clue there)

Could you please tell me who provided the details of Frederick Chapmans life,he was my great uncle three times removed, and we have been searching for him and his family for nearly 30 years. Greg Chapman.

Colleen - You're very welcome! I'm glad I was able to help with your ancestors. I've added photos for the other graves at Mt. Adnah Cemetery. I wasn't sure if they were all part of your family, but I'm glad I took the photos while I was there. Mt. Adnah is a beautiful cemetery!
|Laura Irwin||Chapman - Mt. Adnah Cemetery|
I've added a photo of Frederick Chapman's grave from Mt. Adnah Cemetery (Gloucester, MA). The plot also includes Sarah J. Barns Chapman (1838-1931), Delphine S. (daughter of W&A Clark, 1900-1902), Mary A. Clark (1867-1954), William Clark (1863-1943), and Lizzie (1893-1918). If you'd like to add memorials for them, I am happy to upload the photos to their memorials as well.

I thought it was odd that they were from Salinas but interred up here in Colma. That is strange that May would do that. I am glad you like the photo. Best wishes, Danica
