RE: Anna Taddie Hein Urban
I'll just add it in with mine. Probably won't get over there for a time. Giving up the next four saturdays for K9 training of my black lab.
kindest Regards,

RE: Anna Taddie Hein Urban?
I do go to Calvary. Waiting on a list from that office before I go. I want a donation, so I send them money with the request. Normally about five names. If you have the section and plot # I will photograph it for you.
Kindest Regards,

RE: Joseph Urban
There's a "Baby Urban" stone down there somewhere - it doesn't have any dates on it but I'll find it again and check the location and let you know.

RE: ? on Mary Urban
I'll take another look the next time I'm down there - If the lichens will clean off I'll take care of that as well.

Hiscock photo
It appears Sarah Mae Judson Hiscock is buried in Pueblo Colorado. There is already a memorial for her with a picture of a headstone.

I checked the Riverside directory and it doesn't list her as being buried there.

Uri Hickox
I found Uri (U C) C for Cutler, his wife Amanda Cordelia Andrews Hickox and their daughter Nellie at Newbury center.
I then went to Memorial cem in Burton to look for some requests there and found Uri's parents, Uri and Lydia Esther Ford Hickox.

Did a little research on Ancestry and found that Uri's paternal g parents were Daniel and Phoebe Orton Hickox. Uri had a brother Eleazer. Eleazer officiated at the wedding of Uri and Lydia on Sep 25, 1808 in Burton.

I added photos to the memorials for Stella (Eleazer's wife) and their daughter Cordelia. Some of these grave stones have Hickcox instead of Hickox.

There is a lot of information on this family at Ancestry.

Let me know if I can be of any more help.

If you want to take over the memorials I am sure Joel would transfer them to you. You could then make the family connections.

Richard Pittman
Rosius & Helen French
Glad to help you Cris.
Please note that I captioned the picture -- YOB for Rosius shows 1843 vs. the memorial 1840.

RE: Dear Macso
Hi Cris: As to cleaning the headstone with anything but water, I don't feel comfortable to do that. I consulted the Findagrave FAQ's, which state: "Gravestones should never be cleaned with anything but water and a soft brush. Slate gravestones from the Revolutionary era and Pre-revolutionary era are best left alone due to their delicate nature and tendency to erode.

Never apply bleach, ammonia, shaving cream, chalk, flour, baking soda, cornstarch, firm pressure or use anything abrasive. Do not post photos of recently chalked or shaving-creamed headstones." So sorry to disappoint you.
