Hello. I completed my Masters degree in cultural history in 2012, and graduate certificate in Public History in 2013. My main interests are the art and architecture of the cemetery. I consider cemeteries to be final resting places that also serve as open air museums. I am also a member of the Association for Gravestone Studies. If I can be of any help with cemeteries in my area, please email me.|

Your welcome! Every soul has a story and if I can help preserve it I'm honored to do it. Thanks for the kind words.

Could you remove the photo on memorial #59443106?
It looks like there is something wrong with it. Thanks so much :)

Your picture on Floyd newcomb's memorial page will fulfill the request for Elizabeth who died in 2013
Can you please post so this request can be fulfilled? I cannot find the stone marker
The elderly gentleman Howard Jacobson is the caretaker. I spoke to him while in the cemetery about a week ago this past Sunday. I was in Albany for the membership tea for the Dutch Settlers Society. He has been ill and under treatment over the past year or so. This is his email and phone number to save you a trip. 518-869-1920 and firstname.lastname@example.org. He told me years ago his wife was doing a research project for the DAR, downloading records. It is very difficult to get any feedback. Their is no cemetery office as you probably know. I suppose he houses all the records at home. I know that specific family LaGrange are buried there, just need specifics. I've already sent an email about 2 weeks ago, with again no reply.
I am terribly saddened by the lost of your daughter.
May I send my condolences to you and your family.
I noticed you took a photo of Margaret LaGrange Blessing(John M)who is direct relative of mine and wondered if you ever came across either Jacob J and Catherine Leonard LaGrange; Christian and Anna Marie Eversten. I know that Jacob and Catherine and their eldest son John J are definitely buried there as his parents John C and Anna Marie Mordecai LaGrange. Having visited from 3 hrs south over the years and also knowing 4 of John C and Anna Marie's children w/spouses are at Prospect Hill, I can surmise many other members are there. You appear to be not only passionate but knowledgeable in this field. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the photo for Floyd's memorial. May I have your permission to add that photo to my Ancestry.com tree? I would give you credit and I do not add photos without permission.
|Basiclysue||Mary Gauger Frederick's Family|
Hello. I wanted to let you know that the above's family is on the same lot. I also took pics of them. They are Jacob Gauger (Mary's father) 1867 - 1932 and Anna Gauger (mother) 1867 - 1955. There is also a Carolyn Gauger (probably a sister) 1893 - 1979. If you would like to create a memorial for these people, I will add the pictures.
