My mother put together a family geneology/history book for my father's family. I became interested in expanding the book while I was updating it. The Ford family has been in the area well over 100 years. After returning from the Service my dad went to work in the oil fields of West Texas, we moved back to this area in 1959-60. I have been married for 38 years. I have two daughters & two grandsons.|
I am interested in these families: Shields, Steen, Wells, Mitchell, Havens, Sampson, Hammack, Saxton

I recommend you deleting the Ebenezer Ford page you created and refer to the existing James Ebenezer Ford page so that we won't have duplicates. The headstone picture is on that page.

I see that there are two Ebenezer's in the cemetery. And they have pictures posted on their pages already.

Could this Ebenezer Ford in Bear Creek cemetery (the picture you requested) be "James Ebenezer Ford" b. Nov 9, 1861 d. Nov 14, 1938? If so, I have the picture, but wanted to make sure before I posted the incorrect one.

You didn't ask me this (asked someone else), but I noticed they did not answer you. Mary Syrena is not sister to Waggoner or Warick Carr. She is my third great-grandmother.

The other stones with William H Coles Jr. are
Anna C d. 1974, George W d. 1938, Edith d. 1907 and Lizzie Coles d. 1970. I upload photos on to their memorials too.

Thank you for taking the time to look up my Great Grandfathers grave. It means so much to me that you tried and spent so much time looking for me. Thank you.

You may post the picture of the old Shields home. It is located between Wolfe City, Tx and Hickory Creek Community. Its just west of the Maxey Hall Cemetery. Jas Marion and his son Thos Lafayette,
built the big barn in back I know, I think Jas Marion built this house also with Thos Lafayette. Jas Marion and Mary Syrena's home and farm was just west of this house about 3/4 of a mile. I will send you additional information on the Shields via your e'mail address. Just how are you related to Mary Syrena? She would be my great great grandmother. Richard Shields
