RE: Gravesite of Maria Guiseppa (Tortorelli) Lauletti
Mary Ann,
Just a quick note to let you know I've adjusted the info on Maria's memorial page according to what you told me. FYI - if you care to do so and since you joined the site, you can leave what's called a "token" for your great grandmother and aunt on the pages I created. If you look below the photos, you'll see a button that says "Leave flowers and a note". If you click that, it's pretty self-explanatory from there. Just thought I'd mention it.
Again, and certainly not meaning to invade your family's privacy, if you ever have any further info I can add to make either memorial more complete, I'll always be happy to hear from you!

Mary Ann:
Sorry to hit you w/ another message, but I've been doing this in a void for so long, it's very liberating to have someone to reach out to! Just wanted to check that I understood your orig message. This is indeed the correct Isabella & Maria, however while Isabella is interred in the plot, Maria is simply memorialized on the stone. Is that correct?
Thanks,
Tom

Mary Ann:
Thank you so much for your comment and filling me in. I'll certainly make the corrections as soon as I can. I'm assuming you meant the mass grave in Cypress Hills Cem in Brooklyn? I'm not aware of one in GreenWood. If you have time (and inclination!), is there a story as to how you found out Maria was interred in the mass grave or is it an assumption based on having never recovered her body? I don't know if this is over-stepping but I'm so excited that after having been researching the victims for about a year, suddenly two decendants contacted me. Word must've leaked out somehow! If you have any further corrections or esp info (pictures?) I could add to the bio, I'm more than open to suggestions. My memorial pages are truly done out of a desire to create a wider platform for memorializing and honoring the victims.
Again, so great to hear from you!
