|Marcial||Change from "Grave" to "Person":|
The personal photo you uploaded on Jane Fay's memorial should be changed from "Grave" to "Person".

Please Brian delete my old photos from Jane Golden, Maria Fay, Peter S. Fay and Jane Fay's memorials.

Brian, one of my old photos still remains in Jane Golden's memorial. Maybe you know that the allowed capacity is 5 photos maximum. So I can only upload 3 because you have another photo of Jane Golden herself. Please leave that photo, some of my photos are kind of repetitive so I don't have to put all 5 but maybe you don't know that when someone uploads a photo there is a top box that have "Grave" by default. If you click the arrow next to the box you will see that there are 4 categories in this order:
I suggest that you change Jane's personal photo to "Person" so that way it will be in the first place all the way up, otherwise it will go all the way to the bottom of the photos.

Brian, you made me feel good with your message. And I see that you realize that I was right. Of course, it's not about who's right or who's wrong, it's just about a photographer speaking after having photographed over 500 headstones and who is always fascinated with light and what light can do with statues, bass relieves and, in this particular case, with engravings or carvings. I am very glad you like it.
And first and foremost, that beautiful monument deserved better pictures than the ones I took before. Of course, I'll be glad to upload the photos to the other memorials. It is a pleasure.

Hi Brian. I went back this morning to FAY's grave. I cleaned the soiled engravings with a soft brush, as indicated in the regulations instructed by F.A.G. Now the carvings are easier to read, not only the ones I cleaned but the entire headstone because of the bright sun light and the angle the rays hit the carvings. And yes, I do like better the deep blue sky in the background. Hope you like the new photos.

Brian, I am somehow an artist and, sometimes unfortunately, a perfectionist. I am telling this because I was never completely happy with the photos I took at Fay's headstone. For one thing, engravings show their best when the sun rays hit them in an angle of 45º more or less. The day was cloudy, when I took the photos. Moreover, I love to show the deep blue sky behind the headstone and the area. No blue sky that day. And the icing on the cake was something like looks like soil on the last three engraved names. I am going back to take better photos and will take a brush with me to clean that "soiled" spot, if that is what it is. According to the forecast, we will have partially sunny days on Wednesday and Thursday, then Sunday. So I'll keep an eye for the sun and will go back with my camera. The monument deserves that.

Michael, I am glad I gave you that happiness. I see that my visit to Calvary this morning with 20ºF and windy was worthy. I can't believe that magnificent monument only cost $500 in those years. I see that you have created memorials for all names on that stone. I can upload the same photos to them. Is that ok with you?
"Thank you so very much for the 3 excellent photographs you took for me at the gravesite of my great great grandfather and grandmother, Michael and Jane Fay. I can't express to you how happy I am to have them. That Fay tablet was erected in 1909 at the cost of $500.10.
