Bio and Links
Bio Photo Trying to piece together the Smithee, Montgomery, White, Hopkins and Rule families... If you have any information to share, corrections to make, or links to add please don't hesitate to use the "suggest a correction" tab or email me directly.

If you happen to find a gravesite of one of the releatives I have created a site for that lists "no burial info" please feel free to create a new site with the current info, I will gladly port my info over and delete my temporary memorial to give you credit for finding their location.

Thanks.

does anyone know why the Smith name was changed?
I am a bit uncomfortable with Robert Smith's son's
(b 1736 d. 1756 married to Rebecca Sheppard) name change to Smithey from that of his father's Smith ( b. 1693 d. 1745)

The towns are a bit of a mystery also, Robert Smithey b. 1736 d 1756 both in Penn. Wife born in Virginia and son John Smithey b 1756 born in Virginia.

Please if anyone can explain these facts I would most appreciate them. Are there any birth/christening records or other verification that Smithey is really the son of Robert Smith and Phebe Canby?

Thanks

RE: William Calvin Donnell
Hi Mark

The Donnell's are my family, but numbers don't matter to me as long as we get the data correct.

Thanks for offering anyway.

Regards,

Jim Townsend
