Joann, I appreciate so much you have taken the time to document Oakwood Cemetery. I live 600 miles away and the 2 times I have been to Allegan were not near long enough to document everyone in all the cemeteries.
LOL, we have stepped on each others toes several times with duplicate memorials. But I really do appreciate that you add my "notes and connections".
As my 4th Greatgrandparents arrived in Allegan in the 1830's, I have literally hundreds of relatives there.
Watch for Poplar Hill, Hudson Corner and Maplewood, as I have scores of family there.
If you run across Horace Wilson (1809-1879) and Ward Wilson (1819-1902), they are buried there someplace. They are both buried in Allegan county, have memorials, but are missing.
My 3rd Greatgrand father and uncle.
Thanks again for ALL the photos and for the time you are taking to preserve family legacy.

I bet that Evelyn Meyer Palmer 1915-2005 is his wife and she remarried. Is there a memorial for her? If not go ahead and make one. Then if you would transfer her to me.
That would help me out a great deal. He is named after his GGrandfather.
