RE: REQUEST FOR SAMUEL HANAN PHOTO
Hi,

I was able to find the markers for more of the Hanan family in the Dayton City Cemetery. They are for Dixon W. and Thomas William Hanan. I've put them on their memorials.

Hi Sherry,

I have added the info you sent, plus I did some checking. It seems both his parents are buried in the same cemetery and I linked him to them. There are two John Smudes on Rootsweb, so everything seems to be correct.

Was it a death certificate or something where his mother's first name was hard to read?

Also, is this a line you are researching?

Thanks for the info on John Colyer. I assume John Orville Colyer Sr is his father. Is that correct?
In addition, if you are related, I would be glad to turn the memorial over to you for management. It is only under my name because I was at the cemetery taking photos of some relatives and included others that I had time to photo.

Esslinger
Sherry,
I received your request for the Esslinger grave photos. This is winter in Wisconsin and the cemetery is covered with snow. I know exactly where this tiny cemetery is, and it's not very far from my home. F.A.G. asks photographers to complete claims within 2 weeks, so I won't put in a claim now. But in the spring, when I can locate their graves and use my camera without freezing my fingers and the batteries, I will gladly take your pix. Do you think Rev. Esslinger was the founding pastor of the church? If you are living in a warmer climate, enjoy it!
