RE: Thomas Jefferson Cook
Right on the census, I believe a mistake was made on the div note because Thomas died in 1919.

Lucy Wade
Lucy was born 22 August 1902, and died 5 July 1982 and is a very legitimate child of Emelous and Julia Wade.

Thomas Jefferson Cook
He was married first to Julia Ann Buckles she was born in 1857 and died 1907 (you are right on the census) He then married Julia Airbell (Wade)nee Dye on 26 December 1910. When he died Julia married Clifton Garrett Ausbon in 1927.

Sorry Robin, I just saw this message. Another good question. You certainly are proving yourself worthy of my early Prunty research. You're another Spolnicki. I'll email you after my mother's visit.

Greetings Robin. Thank you for your brief, inquisitive and intelligent inquiry on my Thomas Prunty memorial. Most of the questions I have received on the marriage record have been negative or down-right mean. Some have denounced the Thomas' marriage record- naming his father as Bryon Prunty without even asking for the source. I will email you.

Thank you for the info on Dr. Prunty. I use Ancestry & familysearch, but not every tree is correct. I work on all Prunty's in the US. It is a whole LOT of work...lols!

RE: T.J. Logsdonn
I have made several changes to his record and changed the death date to 1929.

I am confident that Laura Logsdon Veirs was the second wife of John Owen Veirs who is buried with his first wife in Sonora, so I have linked them. See Find A Grave# 65354221.

He married Maggie Scott on January 2, 1889; she died in 1900. Laura would be his second wife, marrying him around 1905 based on the age of their first child Francis (see 1910 census). Most of the children listed in the 1910 census were Maggie's and this is confirmed in the 1900 census where they are listed under Owen Veirs. (I have noticed the sometimes Veirs and Viers are mixed and this is the case in the Hardin County marriage record of John and Maggie where it is John O Viers.)

Send me the information about the Meade County death (source info) and I will post it to his bio.

T.J. Logsdon

You wrote, "There is a Thomas J LOGSDON who died 8 Jan 1929 in Meade Co., KY. Wonder if this is the same person?" Census data shows he was originally from Hart County, then lived in Haycraft (I think near Elizabethtown) and in the early 20th century lived in Vine Grove. He may have been in Meade County when he died, but I don't see any census data showing a Thomas in Meade County. I really don't know; however, Vine Grove is immediately across from the Hardin County/Meade County line, so even though the headstone death year is off by one, I would say it is possible.
