I was born and raised in Tarrant County.
I lived there for 50 years. Now I live south of Temple. I am a teacher and hope to retire in 10
years. I am a geneology buff and enjoy helping others that are, as well. My mother is a member of the DAR and the Texas Geneology Association.
I am a C.A.R. and love geneology. My son is 25
and has caught the "bug."

I am sorry
I was not trying to sound crappie. But when I get numbers that do not match ...then if I transfer incorrect and u r left out for some reason then I can not help you. I do not mind transferring distant relatives to family as I think that is how it should be....maybe I should start my own site! Ha

RE: Bobbie and Lewis Rogers graves
It says in the obit it's from the Raines County Leader...That's the Emory newspaper. I expect that's where the listing came from.
One of my Great Grandmothers who died before I was born is buried in the Golden Cemetery and didn't have a marker until I put one there several years ago. It makes me sad to know people are buried in unmarked graves but I guess it doesn't mean as much to some or they just aren't financially able to buy one.

RE: Bobbie and Lewis Rogers graves
My wife and I both went and did not find them. They are prob there but may not have a marker. There are many unmarked graves in this cemetery and there's the chance we could have missed them but we did cover it row by row.
Sorry we did not find them.

RE: Winston Powell at Fort Bliss
Hi Liz - You will never learn if you don't try :) The creators of this website have made it very simple to create a memorial for someone.

1) Get the information from Rosemary's entry on the VA site.

2) Go to the cemetery page for Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Click on "Add a name to this Cemetery"
Fill in the boxes with the info for Rosemary.

3) Click the "Proceed to Step 2" button. You are done. You can go back and edit it if you typed something wrong over and over again. So it is OK if you make a mistake. The creator of a memorial has exclusive editing rights. So you can always make changes if you want.

What have you got to loose?

Laurel
