Feel free to use the fotos I have taken if it is for private use or posting elsewhere. If you make money off of one of my fotos I want a piece of the action! I'll gladly relinquish control of most any memorial I may have created if you are related to the deceased.
OK, I usually don't wear the glasses in public. | |

 | James Hogan memorial transfer Good afternoon Brad. I am Jimmy McLane (Find a Grave #46904908) . Would it be possible to transfer the memorial of my great great great great grandfather James Butler Hogan (1787-1847) to me. James Hogan's Find A Grave # is 85285867. Thanks so much for your help. | | | Bobbie O'Barr

The date I have shown is the date on the tombstone. I believe it to be more accurate than the article in the book (taken from a newspaper).
Newspapers of that era often used "instant" and "ultimate" instead of naming the month, which was confusing to a lot of people. Also, these flowery tributes were sometimes written as much as a month later and the date could be easily misconstrued.
The obit showed that he died "on Saturday" and both of these dates are on a Saturday, a week apart, but in different months. I think the writer of the article got the date wrong.
I have re-worded the bio on the memorial. See what you think.
Thanks, Bobbie | | | Susan Barwick
