RE: Joseph Mitchell Burgess
In your research, have you traced the Burgess line back to Giles County, Tennessee. My Grandmother came from that area, born in Pulaski, Tennessee. She had Hardiman family, who married the Burgess line, descendants of Harrison Burgess.

RE: Joseph Mitchell Burgess
Yes, Cousin Evaleen, and Ollie Mae were two wonderful ladies, probably took after their mother, and my Great Aunt Genie Holland. I remember our visit's with them. They always wanted us to stay and eat with them. Ollie Mae ran a snowcone stand in front of their house in West Point, Miss.! She always made a snowcone, when we visited her. Ollie Mae's only son was Jimmy Rex Hall.

Hi Kevin,
I wonder how you are related to Joseph Mitchell & Vera Evaleen (Holland) Burgess. Vera Evaleen was my mother's first cousin. We may be cousin's, are you related from one of their son's, Leon, or Odell Burgess?

Thank you so much for the headstone photos. May I use them on my Ancestry tree?

Tammy Sartin
RE: The Haney's
Sartin was my ex-husband's name. His grandfather I believe was from the area around Friars Point. Don't know much more than that though about them.
