Nettie V. Beckwith
If your Great Aunt Nettie V. Beckwith was buried close to Roy C. I would have taken her tombstone photo along with his. I took tombstone photo's of all of the stone's in Mt. Aaron section. Maybe we will find her in another section, I am still working on recording all the Tombstone in Memorial park.

RE: Sarah Caroline Hodge Parker
Hi Ruth,
I was looking at my records on the Hodge's and I don't have any information on the parents of Sarah Caroline Hodge Parker, other than dates & that they were born in North Carolina.

RE: Sarah Katherine Walling Thornton
Okay, I know nothing of him and of course did not know his first name, but looked on Grapeland web site on marriages but did not find them.

I did however find a;
Steve Pink Thornton son of James "Jim" Thornton and Josie Ferguson Thornton born in Houston County, Texas 06 Dec 1890.
Died; Mar 05, 1948 Houston, Harris County, Texas.
Buried at Davis Cemetery, Grapeland, Texas.

He had a brother; John Henry Thornton b. 10 Jan 1886, born in Houston County, Texas
Died; Jan 30, 1960, Houston, Harris County, Texas
Buried at Davis Cemetery, Grapeland, Texas also.

I looked on Find A Grave and they are not listed.

What in the world has happened to find a grave. signing in and all kinds of new stuff.
Anyway, the really only connection I know about Indians is, I don't know who exactly, Aunt Lete (Letie Bean) my G-aunt, my g-Grandfather Charlie's daughter said that Uncle Tom Walling married an Indian in Okla. Now don't know if that was Elisha's brother or who, but she called him Uncle Tom.
Now she told me that Uncle Tom came to Grapeland
to their house when she was a child and wanted them to go to Okla. G-Grandpa Charlie said no and would not let his boys go. Supposedly Tom married more than one Indian woman. and had children and there are Indians in Okla. with the name Walling.
I don't know about this, but Jesse Walling buried in Lake Whitney Memorial Park, was claimed to have Indian blood, he is a first cousin of Elisha. Now don't know if that was his mother's side or what. Now as far as Indian blood in the Walling's, I have never heard of any. This is what I know about Indians.

Elisha Walling
Hi Ruth, I saw your not on my memorial for Elisha Walling. Thank you.
Charlie Walling, Elisha and Amanda's oldest son, is my G-grandfather, down to his son John to my mother Christine Walling and then to me.
I have alot of info on "The Walling's of Houston County, Texas" Or look up my Tree under
Nancy Bundrick. Do you have any picture of Jesse Walling?
If you did I would love to have a copy. I think
Tom Streetman has found another son, Hosea, on find a grave, but it is spelled as Hosa Walling, in Kennard, Texas.

RE: Leatha Vianna Davidson Low and James Duncan Low
You know I don't like arguing about anything. Especially people I do not know, though it seems we are shirt tail kin. I do know I have photos of the front of the cemetery, plus the gravestones from the gate, plus close ups which are posted. also if you go to the website there is a listing of the davidson cemetery with the gravesites listed which include these headstones. I am several hundred miles from the cemetery itself and don't know when I will be back there. I just don't know what else to say. I am sure you were at the funerals, I am sure I was at the cemetery taking photos, I am sure I can read the website listed above, I know your mother knows. I just don't know what else to say. If you want to delete them be my guest. At this point you know you are right I am questioning my sanity. Most of the time photos don't lie, maybe they did this time. I just have enough going on in my life I don't want to argue with you anymore. You, again, have my permission to just delete them. There are a lot of things in this world more important. Life, health and the well being of my family first.

I just pulled up all the photos I took while visiting Floyd Davidson (My father's cousin) who is also now buried at the Davidson Cutler cemetery. All my photos and records show that Letha (Floyds Sister) is buried at the Davidson Cemetery. Or was at that time. The land that the Davidson Cutlery cemetery is on is owned by the Weisinger's. My GGGrandmother Davidson was a Weisinger. These photos were taken in 1994.
