I been working on my ancestry information for a a few years (but will always be a beginner) on the following families:
"Sharon's World & Beyond" (9/9/2013) - Rickard, Morrison, Fry & Knapp from West Virginia
"Jeff's World & Beyond" (3/24/2016) - Girton, Hidlay, Herrold, & Yeager from Pennsylvania.
I am working with Family Tree Maker. This project, and some quilting, helps to keep my mind active!
Originally from West Virginia. I've lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and I now live in Kentucky. As I visit other little "burgs" I stop and take a few shots of monuments if I can get to them! I love the different styles from elaborate to simple - I love them all ... especially the hard carved historical markers!
I'm willing to get out to take photos if they are easy to get to! Can't climb all over the country sides any more! Also, if there is a memorial that you would like to maintain just let me know!
Thanks for any help! God Bless! Sharon
If you have the time, please stop by and visit my Mom and Dad. I miss them very much!
And for all of you who has lost a four legged loved one, please know that our heart goes out for your loss. Please take time to visit our little lost Angel and Dixie Mae.
Rexford Ray Kapp Sharon, I am Carolyn Kapp and I have contacted you before re the Kapps. I have noticed the name of Rexford Ray Kapp on my grandfather Charles Jasper Kapp's page. Please tell me who the heck is Rexford Ray Kapp listed as one of my grandfather's children. This name is totally unknown to me or the rest of my family. Could you fill me in, please and tell me where this come from? My dad's siblings were Leonard Bernard Kapp, Audrey Fay Kapp and Curtis Kapp....no Rexford Ray. This wasn't on his page the last time I visited here. This has me pretty upset. Thanks for anything you may be able to help me with.
Lucy McDermitt Pitt # 158396782 Hello, I was surprised to find a newly created memorial connected to my great grandparents and my grandfather Elmer. Aunt Lucy was my great aunt, my mothers aunt. We have wondered for years where she was buried. Could you share with me where you found the information? It is great to have this mystery solved. Thank you!
Earl Wayne "Bimbo"Smith -63053123 sent you an edit for Earl Wayne Smith..His dad is Gene Wayne Smith..Gene's wife is still alive..Had the wrong name on my last note.. Just remove Gertrude as "mother" she is his grandmother. thanks Nancy.
Gene Wayne "Bimbo" smith Hi sharon..you have Gene Wayne "Bimbo" Smith's mom as Gertrude..She is his grandmother..When I find which one of Gertrudes sons is his father will let you know. His mom and dad may still be alive..
RE: #105633448 Mary George Fine, her name is Gertrude...but she never went by that... Her tombstone does not have an initial G in her name.. I am not putting her middle name as Gertrude, because no one ever called her that in the family...OK...
#105633448 Mary George Aunt Mary never went by a middle name... and I have no intention of adding a middle name that I have no record of.... Her son Stephen approved of my memorial.. so that's good enough for me.
