John Roland 1807-1891
Thank you for sharing this photo! Iím hoping you might please help me verify this photo of my 3x great-uncle. I especially like to honor our veterans by finding their info for my family research.

The label on the photo is cut off. If you have the original, can you tell me what it says? Any date on the photo or place?

Do you have any info on his Civil War service? I can only find a John C Roland, 18th Regímt, Iowa Infantry, B company. Is that him? Thank you for your help. Sandra

RE: John Wilson
Hi Jan
I have 3 "John Wilson" in my care...Would you go to the memorial and use the edit button and then the SAC (suggest a correction)tab in the upper right hand corner of the correct one you want linked.
Thanks, Mo

RE: Catherine Emerson
To get it in the bio you will need to type it and send it. You may be able to add it as a picture.
Hope this helps..Mo

Emerson links added
Jan,
I added in the parent links you suggested for the three Emerson individuals. I notice that in doing so Asa Emerson and Ada Alice Emerson Litton both now have 1870 as their DOB's. Were they twins? Our info had Asa born on June 1, 1870, so there isn't much room for them being other than twins if either birth was full term. Just something you might want to research and confirm.
