|As the little children ask, "where do I come from?" I think it is important for them to know. My mother always told me I was Irish and to be proud. Well, I found out I am a lot more than "Irish". It is fascinating to learn about your ancestors. I find it remarkable how much information is available from so long ago. |
From men and women who founded a country and fought to preserve their freedom, were innocent, but, hanged as witches or killed by indians, their stories are amazing.
It is a lot of work to uncover all this information, however, once you start it is impossible to stop! I am amazed at all the cousins I have met and enjoy working with them. I appreciate all the people who have helped me and I try to pay back. I'm finding Find A Grave a valuable resource with a lot of generous people volunteering their time. If anyone has a request in the Palm Springs, CA area I will try to help.
The main families I am researching are: Eads, Jackson, Eller, Green, Jones, Reynolds, Burks,

I do have some very good news I can tell you. The hospital just had a beautiful marker placed at the front gate of the cemetery with all the names on it. It is beautiful. I do not know for sure when the dedication of it will be but perhaps you can come to the dedication when it is held. The cemetery is beautiful. I love going there because it is always mowed and so peaceful. A few families have placed markers for their loved ones. Not many but some. There has also been a new gate put up. You can see it on Find A Grave.

|Jim & Debby Jackson||Jackson Family|
Hi, I'm a Jackson researcher, and am currently researching Ezekiel Jackson and his children. Several of them, Didama (Jackson) Figget, Joseph Jackson and Oliver I Jackson are buried in the Biggerstaff Cemetery in Fannin County, Texas. From your FindaGrave posting I see that you are also interested in the Jackson line. If still true, please contact me at email@example.com I have a great deal of information on this group of Jacksons.

Sold the photo at an antique store. I found this in a group of CDVs at an antique store in Oklahoma. How it got there I have no idea.
It is my pleasure let me know if I can do anything else!

Thanks so much for the photos of the McLinden's graves. I also appreciate the heads up about the condition of the grave stone. I will be contacting the cemetery on Monday. Thanks again,
