Thanks for getting back to me...
Thanks for taking the time to get back to me, no matter how far down the road. Would love to collaborate - send me an email at ken.lange@gmail.com and I'll see if I can come up with some questions to answer - haven't worked on the Trebil line for quite a few months now, so I'll have to get back on track.

Thanks!
Ken

Leslie Trebil
Hi there,

I'm just starting to do research on Leslie Merritt Trebil, who is a distant cousin of mine. Are you a descendent? I have just come across his parent's line this week, and am working on acquiring information, but I can provide further details on his mother's side, Sarah Agnes Tupper. Feel free to contact me here, or at my email account (see my profile).

Thanks,
Ken Lange

RE: William and Millie Shook
Betsy do you know what happened to Stella and Charles Shook? Were you told any family history from your Father or Grandfather you could share? Are there other cousins that you keep contact with? I have several Shook cousins on my side. They in Glendive, Cutbank, Eureka Montana. My sisters live in Oregon and one in Washington. I would love to swap information with you. Mona Shook Thorpe.

RE: William and Millie Shook
Betsy, I think Florence Westphal is Charles C Shook's daughter. It looks like he died when she was about two. In the 1930 census she is listed as Will and Millie's daughter but I believe she was a Granddaughter. I searched Annamoose census and their was a family of Wesphal's living there maybe her family on her Mother's side? Now, Millie was a twin and she had a brother name Charles Bower and when I was searching for him I found where someone said Florence was his daughter. I am so happy you contacted me several members of our family would like to know more about your families. When Lester 1 died, Grandpa Shook )(Harry) was staying with us when he was told his brother died. Keep in touch. Mona

RE: Charles Eberhardt
You're welcome. Happy to join the search party. I did find his death listed in the newspaper which states he died at St. Barnabas Hospital of abcesses.

Orlando Scherling's headstone photo
Thank you Betsy for taking and entering his headstone photo. It looks great! FYI - I stopped using my flash on these type of surfaces because of the glare. Even indoors unless it is very dark it works okay without a flash. If you do use a flash you have to take the photo at an angle to keep from seeing the flash in the photo. Thanks again! Sincerely Doug Sorensen
