I am retired now so am free to pursue my interests in travel, family history and genealogy. My undergraduate degree was in English and I took a graduate degree in history. Our home is in Crystal Lake, Illinois, but we also rent a house in Elk River, Minnesota, which is near our children and grandchildren.|
The cemeteries I have concentrated on are those near Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where my husband's family was buried, Washburn County, Wisconsin, where many in my own family were buried, and I will gradually add more grave photos and obituaries from a variety of cemeteries.

Thank you for photographing the headstone of my cousin Odile Barnier. I have been looking for it.
She was born in Wisconsin about 1902 and by 1905 her family lived in Olivia, MN. They returned to the large Barnier family in Chippewa Falls for her education; she attended Notre Dame School there. At age 18 she moved to St Paul, Ward 4 in Minnesota for her first job. She died 4 months later of pneumonia. Her family was shattered by the loss.
I've seen her name as Odila and Odille, so it's good to have the headstone for a reference.
I added a few more names to St.Pat's and try to check for duplicates of my own, sometimes find yours!

Karen, Would you please consider transferring the Mary Schnulle memorial (Find A Grave#96701172) to me? She is a sister to Walter Howe buried in Hampshire Center. Walter is my husband's grandfather. Thanks for your consideration.

Hi Karen. Thank you for all your contributions to FindaGrave & for this addition. Mary
I think they are all with you at this time.
My pleasure to transfer a monument to a family member. That is a wonderful photograph you added to Find A Grave.

Hi, Karen; I transferred Lawrence Sr.'s stone. Then got curious so went to check my file of photo's taken at Lakeview, Larry Jr's stone was there right next to his parents. I must have missed posting it, hopefully not to many of those. Anyway, Larry's military stone has been added to his memorial, too.

Hi, I actually found the obit & had already added it to his memorial. Updates are done. Thanks.

The addition of the obit is appreciated! It is a sad story when a young mother dies.
