Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi! My name is David and I am an avid genealogist and family historian. I was bitten by the genealogy bug many years ago but the Internet took the hobby to an entirely different level!

Memorials that I have created or that I maintain are for ancestors and relatives with the exception of those in the virtual cemetery "Unrelated". I attempt to create a brief biography for each individual. If any information contained in a memorial is incorrect please contact me so that I can make a correction. Feel free to suggest information to add to the memorials. Also, if anyone has any photos of any of the individuals in the memorials I would greatly appreciate them being added to the memorials. Please feel free to use any information or photos that I have posted for your own personal use. All I ask is that credit be given to me if they are reproduced elsewhere. If any of the memorials in the "Unrelated" listing are relatives or friends of yours please let me know and I will gladly transfer their memorials.

I believe that we honor the dead by maintaining their memories. I read once that when we die we do so twice. The first is the actual, physical death. The second occurs when the last person who knew us passes and all living knowledge of us is gone. I feel that by creating memorials for family members and photographing their graves that I help to keep their memories alive. Often as I wander through cemeteries reading the names on old grave markers I wonder how long it has been since someone read the name and remembered the person buried there.

Please feel free to contact me at the email address listed in my profile if any questions arise about my research and memorials. If you view my memorials and you are kin please contact me and let me know. I thoroughly enjoy hearing from distant cousins and relations that I have never met.

Not sure if there related but here is the info for a memorial if you choice to make one. Let me know when you've done that and I'll add those pics too.

Cave Hill Searching
Anytime you want to see if someone is buried in Cave Hill you can go to their site, and search. I like to use just the surname so I see all those with that name. Find some treasures that way.

RE: Meyer Headstones
I agree that he was cremated. The area of the cemetery is very close together and would only accommodate cremated remains.

Jacob Rothfuss
I've asked that Mr Rothfuss' memorial be moved back to National. Sorry for my part of the confusion. I should have kept mum until I had field checked everywhere there was to check. The records for these two cemeteries are really screwy.

I found Jacob & Minnie. There are two plots with exactly the same ID# in different parts of the Section C in Cave Hill National. There is no one buried in the plot they are listed for in Cave Hill Cemetery, which is next door to National.

Someone else is buried at the location provided in Cave Hill National Cemetery. Mr & Mrs Rothfuss are actually buried in Section C, Lot 2 in Cave Hill Cemetery, not Cave Hill National. Needs to be moved to the correct cemetery. Gravelocator is wrong. If I can't get to the site in the near future, someone else will.

"Forest Lawn" I would love to get your picture of
the head stone BUT< Forest Lawn is not findagrave
friendly and will not give out grave location to
non-family.. Please E-mail or call them for a location and I will try to fulfill your request.
Thanks, Patty
